I wasn't satisfied with the HD picture no matter how I adjusted the brightness, sharpness, contrast,color,etc. And I couldn't get any audio to my analog amp so I could listen to my external speakers.
When I tried to stream shows from my computer to this t.v, I got video but no audio.
Most of the instruction manual and cd is dedicated to the EzSign computer setup.
This t.v. is basically for businesses so they can run their advertisements (EzSign),and not home use.

Picture is great right out of the box in my opinion. I didnt have to adjust any really at all. Just set it in game mode, plugged it into my computer and ran with it.

--Playing all videos using internal TV player (mkv, avi, mpg, VOB). Able to connect DLNA through WiFi in a second using special DLNA server software for Win7 (NERO software recommended by LG is sucks... Windows Media Player is worse...), was able to play VOB without fragments (DVD format). Wifi working in N mode with 40Mhz width which is pretty enough to play 1080p mkv 3D from my PC.

HOW TO GET RID OF THE SOAP OPERA EFFECT:

I was originally going to buy a Kuro 50 inch plasma after looking at all the online reviews from many different sites. The Samsung 650 was also ranked very high, but there were some small negatives about the tv (some glare issues primarily) that had me holding off for the Kuro. amaz n originally had the Kuro for about 2k, but I didn't pull the trigger quick enough, and then it went away, and I couldn't find it anywhere for under $2,500.
