We recently purchased this television from a different store but were impressed as soon as we turned it on. We had received a 24" Vizio LCD for Christmas, but its quality was severely lacking - the picture went dark very quickly if you viewed the screen off-center, even about 10-20 degrees off axis - to the point that having the television on top of a chest of drawers caused it to be too high to watch TV with any decent quality.
