I purchased this TV when my c.2 year old Vizio succumbed to what is apparently a common problem with them: That start to repeatedly turn themselves off and re-boot every few minutes. Even though this set is only 720p I can't see any difference, and I don't think that's a function of my 71 year old eyes. On a screen this size it apparently just doesn't make any difference.
