After set up you will need to calibrate the picture to make it look the best, but once complete the picture is beautiful! As far as sound quality from the internal speakers goes this tv is really good when compared to some other brands of LED/LCD tv's (LG TV's sound like an old AM radio), but not as good as the speakers in my old Sharp Aquos LC45d40u.
